My holiday bedding combo in olive and sand

I LOVE layering different textures for that fluffy, lived-in look. The mix of earthy greens, soft neutrals and cozy textures makes our bedroom feel so warm and inviting, and it still reads as Christmas. Olive is the base here: the gauze duvet and bamboo sheets are the same shade, so the bed looks tonal instead of busy.

The layers on top: a sand linen quilt and a chunky knit

The sand linen quilt sits across the bottom of the bed, and the ivory chunky knit goes over it. If you're building this at home, I'd make the bed in olive first, fold the quilt over the lower half, then drape the knit so it falls off one corner. Big linen Euro shams in the back give it height. The holiday touches: garland, Norfolk pine and a gold bell

For the holiday part, I kept it simple: pine garland along the headboard, Norfolk pine on the nightstand and a big gold bell at the foot of the bed. That's enough to feel festive without cluttering the bed. The bell I linked is a similar one, not the exact bell in our room.
